Josh Raymond is a photographer based in Sydney, Australia whose work addresses the problematic bond between photography, anthropology, and the colonial imagination. The work often uses a visual economy that invites multiple interpretations and Raymond is always interested in the traditional crossroads laid between vision, knowledge, and power, which lie at the heart of the history of photographic image making.
